Safe cycling across the city

Live in Comely Bank but work by Meadows. Want to cycle but feel like I am taking life in my hands, make a safe route across the city.

    In Edinburgh we have excellent walk/cycle routes but some are not joined up in useful ways. To improve safety, we could install new dedicated paths, implement more cycle lanes or both!

    To improve safety, nobody should be allowed to use the road unless they have passed a test that includes practical skills as well as a test of road traffic law.
