The need for better programmes of education and training around carbon reduction and sustainable living is one of the key themes which has come out of public engagement from ourselves and partners.
Carbon literacy training – either for individuals or entire community groups – could help to raise awareness about what kind of change is needed if we are to reach net-zero by 2030, or more generally, live lives which impact less on the world around us.
Greater access to specialised training could help individuals develop the specific skills required to develop a flourishing green economy.
We want to know what kind of education and training on climate and sustainability issues have you taken part in in Edinburgh?
