Create more allotments

Let's get rid of the waiting lists for allotments, and find desirable places for communities to grow their own food.

Let's respond to the growing interest in gardening and the current circumstances in which people find themselves suddenly excited about tending a small plot locally.

Let's encourage connection with the seasons and the soil.

Why the contribution is important

We know there are so many benefits to wellbeing, it seems an easy one to get started with.

Absolutely!!! Or create shared community allotments, to foster community spirit, improve wellbeing, and bring different generations together.
Either encourage people to use the land that they already own (whether knowingly or not) - e.g. private or shared gardens, backgreens and any other shared spaces - or unlock areas of council-owned land to be used as allotment land by community members.
