Why the contribution is important

Wonky veg boxes are usually cheaper to buy than buying veg individually and they also tend to include seasonal and local veg which is much better for the environment.

    Selling wonky veg also reduces food waste. Home grown veg can be odd shapes and we would not bin it, so why expect farmers to chuck the item that look a little odd.
