Visit a second-hand / refurbished furniture charity

Needing new furniture?  Instead of buying brand new items, why not visit a second-hand / refurbished charity store to pick up quality items at bargain prices, e.g. British Heart Foundation or EFI.

Why the contribution is important

Not only are we doing our bit for the environment and saving some cash, they money raised goes to some great causes, helping those most in need.

    The EFI are superb for finding furniture you want at very reasonable prices. They are helping people furnish their house whilst being committed to reduce, reuse, recycle principles.

    The British Heart Foundation have a great donations service in your part of Edinburgh and have worked tirelessly throughout the Covid pandemic.

    Well done to both these services they deserve a medal. Would love to see more of this type of service.
